Dyson Airwrap Review
Ok yes, I did it. I’m guilty
For someone currently studying marketing tactics and consumerism, I ironically fall for it every. damn. time.
I admit it, the Dyson is undoubtedly a splurge, but after seeing a for you page dominated by effortless blowouts via Dyson Airwrap, I decided why the hell not break the bank.
The Hair Dryer
Although this attachment looks super tiny, do not be fooled. This baby is powerful. Because I’m a freak and figure it would be beneficial for the general public to know, I timed myself to see how long it would take with the standard drying attachment. Six minutes and three seconds. Yup. You read that right. Well, I don’t know about you guys, but I’d say that’s pretty damn good in my book.
The Hairbrush/”straightener?”
I am not entirely sure what you would call this attachment; it somewhat mimics the purpose of the Revlon brush. I used to have a Revlon but really struggled to get my hair feeling completely dry and fluffy. Maybe it’s just me, but while the Revlon was meh, I always felt like it left the job half done. The Dyson Airwrap complete set comes with two brushes. One is for achieving that straighter look, and one adds volume when needed. I really like both, but I think the one meant to get volume does wonders. Recently in the morning, when I am rocking some fat bedhead, I quickly use this attachment, and I am ready for the day.
The Round brush
I haven’t really gotten used to this attachment yet, but I have enjoyed using it to blow out my bangs. However, it usually falls flat pretty quickly unless I use LOTS of hairspray.
The Airwrap
This may be bold, but I love love love this attachment. It took me a few days to finally conquer this bad boy, but when I finally did, I was blown away. Not only does it produce a beautiful end product, but it takes me barely anytime. 10/10 recommend
While I know purchasing a Dyson Airwrap is quite pricey, I would say it’s worth the splurge if you are willing to dedicate some practice time. With this lil monster, Youtube tutorials will become your best friend, but once you figure it out, you won’t regret it.
